Born in 1998 in Reykjavik, Iceland, Einar Jarl Björgvinsson is a photographer currently based in Berlin. He is pursuing a BA in photography at SRH Berlin School of Design and Communication. Before moving to Berlin, Einar was deeply involved in Iceland’s local music scene, working at Gaukurinn, a well-known venue. His experience includes freelance work in the local scene, tour photography for the band Kælan Mikla, and festival photography at Eistnaflug, an Icelandic metal festival.
Einar's photographic style is primarily documentary, with a keen interest in capturing the human experience and the diverse emotions associated with it. His work focuses on people, aiming to convey their stories and the essence of their lives through his lens.
